About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well -established distributor in the dairy and FMCG industry based in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, customer -focused sales professional who enjoys building lasting client relationships and delivering consistent results in a fast -paced environment.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of clients while identifying opportunities to grow sales within your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  
• Develop and implement territory sales plans aligned with business objectives.
  
• Conduct regular customer visits, product reviews, and sales meetings.
  
• Analyse sales performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  
• Prepare accurate and timely sales reports for management.
  
• Collaborate with internal marketing and logistics teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
  
• Resolve customer queries and escalations professionally and efficiently.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in an FMCG sales environment.
  
• Proven ability to build, manage, and maintain long -term customer relationships.
  
• Experience analysing sales data and producing accurate sales reports.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Valid driver's licence, own reliable roadworthy vehicle, and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
