Senior Accountant

• Manage
  the general ledger and ensure accurate accounting records
  
• Process and
  oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  
• Reconcile
  financial records and resolve discrepancies timeously
  
• Prepare
  monthly management accounts and financial reports
  
• Ensure
  compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
  
• Assist with
  internal and external audits, as well as statutory and regulatory reporting
  requirements
  

Requirements

• Grade
  12
  
• Bachelor's
  Degree in Financial Accounting
  
• Minimum of
  3 years' experience in an Accountant role
  
• Recent
  experience in stock and fixed asset accounting is essential
  
• Proficiency
  in accounting software, including Sage Evolution and Sage Intacct
  
• Sound
  understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance
  requirements within the South African environment
