A high-performance procurement role within a fast-growing African industrial supply group servicing mining, oil & gas, construction, rail, ports, and infrastructure projects across Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage large-scale sourcing and procurement across multiple industries and divisions
• Have a strong understanding of procurement processes within mining, construction, oil & gas, and industrial sectors
• Source products competitively while maintaining quality, reliability, and delivery performance
• Operate effectively under pressure and within tight project deadlines
• Plan daily workflow efficiently to manage multiple large procurement requirements simultaneously
• Maintain strong communication with business development teams, logistics, dispatch, suppliers, finance, and clients
• Track order progress closely to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved
• Build and maintain strong supplier and OEM relationships
• Assist in negotiating pricing, lead times, payment terms, and supply agreements
• Sometimes travel with Business Developers / Account Managers to better understand client operations and requirements
• Help guide and mentor junior buyers within the team
• Ensure procurement systems, records, and communication remain properly updated

• Strong procurement and sourcing experience
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work under extreme pressure in a fast-moving environment
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Strong understanding of industrial supply chains
• Positive attitude, accountability, and strong work ethic
• Reports to:Division Heads / COO / CFO
