About the Role: 

We're hiring a Senior Consultant into our Investment Reporting implementation team. You'll take client engagements from a first, often unclear business problem through to a live, automated reporting solution running on the Kurtosys platform, and you'll own that journey from end to end. As a Senior Consultant, you'll also review the work of your junior counterparts and take accountability for what you sign off.

In practice, you turn a loosely defined ask into a validated, well-shaped scope. You design and run discovery sessions, drawing clear requirements out of a room full of different stakeholders. You catch a flawed assumption or a risk early, and you bring options along with it, not just a flag. When a stakeholder conversation gets difficult, you're comfortable steering it back to alignment yourself.

You'll often be working with new client contexts and unfamiliar data. People who do well in this role approach that with curiosity, treating it as interesting rather than daunting. They aren't afraid to ask questions, and they adapt quickly as new information comes in.

What You'll Do: 

• Own client engagements end to end. Lead discovery, shape ambiguous requirements into validated scope, and see delivery through across systems


• Manage senior client stakeholders directly. Align conflicting priorities and hold the line with diplomacy


• Be the first escalation point on your projects. Peer-review the work of your junior counterparts and take accountability for what you sign off


• Analyse and validate client datasets (CSV, XLSX, XML, JSON), write complex SQL, and configure RESTful API integrations for automated reporting


• Contribute to solution design. Challenge engineers, stress-test scalability, and shape how problems get solved


• Coach your junior counterparts through craft and review


• Spot inefficiency and fix it. A new template, a better process, a small automation. Whatever raises the bar

What You'll Bring:

• A minimum of 4 years' experience delivering end-to-end software or SaaS implementations


• Proficient SQL: complex queries, performance optimisation, data-model validation, troubleshooting


• Strong grasp of CSV/XML/JSON and how data actually moves through integration pipelines


• Comfortable with RESTful APIs: reading, testing, troubleshooting


• Fluent in Agile, full SDLC


• A consulting or solutions-delivery background


• Financial services exposure strongly preferred: asset management, wealth management, fund administration
