The successful candidate will translate financial and operational information into meaningful commercial insights, helping guide strategic decision -making while ensuring strong financial governance across the business.

Job Description

• Provide commercial financial analysis to support business performance and strategic decision -making.
  
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
  
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, financial models and management reports.
  
• Evaluate business cases, capital investment opportunities and return -on -investment initiatives.
  
• Support long -term strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
  
• Develop executive -level reporting and performance dashboards.
  
• Partner with operational teams to improve profitability and financial performance.
  
• Review cost structures and recommend operational efficiencies.
  
• Contribute to governance, compliance and consistent financial reporting standards.
  
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders on business growth, performance improvement and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
  
• Professional finance qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or similar.
  
• Extensive experience in commercial finance, financial planning, business analysis or asset -intensive industries.
  
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and strategic planning.
  
• Previous experience in a senior finance leadership role.
  
• Strong commercial acumen with advanced analytical and financial modelling skills.
  
• Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management abilities.
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
