About the Position
The South African Revenue Service (SARS) is looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to fill the role of Senior Office Stakeholder Management in the office of the Director: National Government Taxpayer Engagement and Operations. This position is crucial for managing the stakeholder relations within National Government responsible for the Diplomatic Missions, International Organisations, Government Departments, and Related Entities.
Job Purpose
To execute basic stakeholder Relation interventions, Ethics Programmes and or Operational Research assignments. Co-ordinate and sustain manage the administrative, operational and governance functions, as well as coordinating `the strategic and performance plan of the Segment Director. Coordinate and sustain mutual partnership with all stakeholders and or provide research support in the pursuit of SARS strategic vision.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Commerce/ Administration/Law AND 5-7 years' experience in a stakeholder or taxpayer engagement/ in a tax customer service-based environment of which 2-3 years at a technically skilled level.

- Evaluate operational capacity planning and risk management planning and make recommendations for changes in order to achieve strategic objectives.
- Handle fewer complex matters in addressing Taxpayer issues
- Initiate process and procedural change, implement the change and provide guidelines and support related to new requirements as a results of the change
- Manage single member network ensuring support from the communications team including media, government, parliament and diplomatic missions.
- Plan for value -added process improvements, initiatives and service to deliver on operational strategy and objectives.
- Provide Specialist input through the investigation of opportunities for operational and process, product and risk optimisation
- Play a facilitation role with institutions and follow through to address-to-address identified gaps,
- Raise awareness on appropriate approach to be used by Taxpayers in an effort to streamline and make SARS services

- Ensure that completed work adhere to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirement and report on deviations and discrepancies.
