, Permanent Position: Skilled and Semiskilled Boilermaker Company: Msuez UK Location: Durban, South Africa Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent We are a leading manufacturing company in Durban, South Africa, and we are currently seeking skilled and semiskilled Boilermakers to join our team. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing boilers, tanks, and other large vessels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking and welding, as well as experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Key Responsibilities: - Construct, assemble, and repair boilers, tanks, and other large vessels according to blueprints and specifications - Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding - Read and interpret technical drawings and plans - Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut, shape, and join metal parts - Inspect and test completed work to ensure it meets quality standards - Troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise during the construction process - Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times - Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Boilermaker in a manufacturing or industrial setting - Strong knowledge of metalworking and welding techniques - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans - Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary - Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Must adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for growth and development within our company.
