We're rebuilding the frontend of one of South Africa's most widely used banking apps, and we're looking for an Intermediate Frontend Engineer who wants to be part of that exciting journey.
We're not looking for someone who simply wants to work through a list of tickets.
We're looking for an engineer who takes ownership. Someone who can pick up a requirement, understand the problem, work through an approach, build the solution and see it through to completion.
You'll join the team at an exciting point in the app's evolution. We're moving towards a more modern, maintainable architecture and towards full-stack engineering, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills while working alongside experienced engineers.

A product people use every day
You'll be building technology that sits at the centre of how millions of people manage their money, from everyday payments and transactions to saving and managing their finances.
A high engineering standard
This is a large codebase with real technical challenges. You'll participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architectural decisions, with experienced engineers around you to learn from and challenge.
A team that's building for what's next
We're in the middle of a significant frontend rewrite and moving towards full-stack engineering. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to that change rather than simply maintaining what already exists.
Room to grow
You'll be encouraged to broaden your technical skills beyond the frontend, while working alongside senior engineers who can support your development.
You'll work in a large codebase while we transition from the existing frontend to a more modern architecture
