ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
· Deep functional knowledge of treasury processes,
especially on management of foreign exchange and commodity price risks and
capital markets funding products.
· Proven experience with Wallstreet Suite or
similar treasury management systems (TMS) for configuration, integration and
operations.
· Ability to translate strategic directives from
Treasury, Risk Management and Compliance into detailed functional requirements
and system designs.
· Strong stakeholder management and vendor
transition skills, able to influence across global teams without direct
authority.
· Practical experience mapping business processes
to system functionality and maintaining end-to-end process integrity.
· Solid understanding of financial instruments
(FX, commodities, interest rate derivatives) and how they are represented for
valuation, accounting and risk treatment in IT systems.
· Experience defining and coordinating interfaces
between TMS, market-data providers, payment systems, and internal banking
connections.
· Project and transition management skills to
coordinate insourcing, implementation projects and rollout activities.
· Excellent technical documentation, test planning
and knowledge-transfer capabilities (user guides, runbooks, X-Ray test
artifacts).
· Strong communication skills in English (German
advantageous), with intercultural sensitivity for global stakeholder
engagement.
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:
· Hands-on exposure to Wallstreet Suite
implementations, administration or operational support.
· Prior experience insourcing activities from
external providers and running vendor-to-inhouse transitions.
· Familiarity with market-data connectivity
(market data vendors), trading platforms and multi-banking interfaces.
· Basic scripting or automation skills (Python,
Bash) to support operational handover and runbook automation.
· Knowledge of cloud, middleware, database (MS
Azure/MS SQL) and DevOps concepts to collaborate with IT teams.
· Experience with monitoring/observability and
production support tooling for financial systems.
· Experience with release, change, cut-over and
fallback planning for complex financial system rollouts.
· Strong MS Office skills for reporting, analysis
and management presentations (Power BI advantageous). Understanding of audit,
internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements as they apply to
treasury operations.
· Agile delivery experience and ability to work
within cross-functional feature teams.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· University degree in business/economics,
physics, mathematics, computer science or comparable qualification.
· At least 5 years’ professional experience in
Treasury within a corporate or consulting environment, with demonstrable
experience bridging business and IT aspects for treasury systems.
· Project management experience and expanded
experience in finance functions of an industrial or financial services company;
ideally specialized in both business and technical (IT) aspects and
knowledgeable about common financial instruments’ risk, valuation and IT
representation.
