Supply Chain Management Administrator

NOW RECRUITING: Supply Chain Management Administrator position in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

Supports and coordinates supply chain activities to ensure efficient procurement, movement, storage, and distribution of goods and services within the University.

• Location: Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape
• Contract Period: 12-month fixed-term contract
• Salary: R28,000 CTC per month

Key Responsibilities

• Administer procurement and sourcing processes.
• Maintain supplier and contract records.
• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and stock movements.
• Track deliveries and resolve supply issues.
• Prepare supply chain reports and performance data.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, finance, and end users.
• Maintain supply chain management systems and databases.

Typical Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, communications, economics, or a related field to be an added advantage.
• Experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain administration.
• Knowledge of relevant procurement legislation and policies, particularly in the public sector.
