Supply Chain Manager - Agriculture

·         Plan, coordinate, and manage all logistics
and distribution activities across local and export markets

·         Oversee warehousing, transportation, and
distribution to ensure optimal stock flow and on-time delivery

·         Manage third-party logistics providers
(3PLs), transporters, clearing agents, and freight forwarders

·         Monitor and optimise logistics costs, fleet
utilisation, and route planning

·         Manage export logistics processes including
documentation, customs clearance, Incoterms, and international shipping

·         Ensure compliance with South African export
regulations, customs requirements, and destination country regulations

·         Coordinate with clearing agents and freight
forwarders for sea, air, and road freight

·         Manage export lead times, container planning,
and cross-border distribution (SADC and international markets)

·         Manage high-volume, fast-moving stock with
tight delivery timelines and shelf-life constraints

·         Collaborate with Sales, Demand Planning,
Production, and Finance to align forecasts and stock availability

·         Ensure compliance with OHSA, road transport
regulations, and company safety standards

·         Implement and monitor SOPs for warehousing,
distribution, and export processes

·         Manage risk, insurance claims, loss
prevention, and damage control

Requirements

·         Grade
12

·         Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics,
Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field

·         Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in Supply
Chain Management in the Agriculture / FMCG

·         Proven export
logistics experience, including cross-border shipments and
international trade

·         Experience managing warehouses, transport
operations, and 3PLs

·         Strong knowledge of South African transport,
customs, and export regulations

·         Strong understanding of FMCG distribution
models and high-volume logistics

·         Experience with Syspro or similar system

·         Experience managing a large team

·         Candidate must reside in the Port Elizabeth /
Uitenhage area
