This role focuses on growing sales, expanding market share, and maintaining strong customer relationships within the KZN region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and providing sales and technical support for our VSD, PLC, and ultrasonic sensors product ranges.
Regular travel within the region is required.
Responsibilities
Grow sales turnover across the VSD, PLC, and ultrasonic sensors product ranges
Identify, develop, and secure new customers and market opportunities
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
Conduct sales visits independently and alongside internal sales teams
Provide first\-line technical support and product guidance to customers
Follow up on quotations timeously and provide feedback to management
Build and manage a sales pipeline aligned with agreed targets
Submit monthly sales and activity reports
Comply with company policies, safety standards, and customer site requirements
Travel locally within the designated sales territory
Requirements
Experience in industrial automation, VSDs, PLCs, or ultrasonic sensors (advantageous)
Basic understanding of electrical systems, VSDs, and instrumentation
Knowledge of Modbus and industrial communication protocols
Experience using CRM systems and structured sales processes
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid driverâs license (essential)
