Technical Sales Representative - Cape Town

GC Solar is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Technical
Sales Representative to join our Cape Town branch, based at East Precinct,
Montague Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving
technical sales across our full product range, focusing on product
specification, new business development, and project implementation for
end -user clients in the electrical and infrastructure sectors.

after -sales support and technical services, especially in the commercial

solutions for utilities, mines, and commercial buildings, leading the way in

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

·        Proactively identify and engage with new clients

·        Maintain and grow strong relationships with
contractors, consultants, and key industry stakeholders

·        Prepare technical proposals, tenders, and
quotations

·        Conduct on -site technical presentations and
product demos

·        Represent GC Solar at industry events, expos,
and customer meetings

Project & Client Management

·        Oversee project implementation, ensuring timely
delivery and quality compliance

·        Ensure technical requirements are met through
accurate product specification

·        Maintain detailed records of sales activities in
GC Solar’s CRM system

·        Submit regular performance and pipeline reports
to management

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:

• N4
  or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  

Experience:

·        Minimum 1 year in a technical sales environment

·        Proven track record in product specification and
project -based sales

·        Experience in the South African electrical industry
is a strong advantage

Skills:

·        Strong communication and presentation skills

·        Excellent organizational and project management
abilities

·        Ability to work independently and take
initiative

·        Detail -oriented with accurate administrative and
reporting habits

Additional Requirements

·        Valid driver’s license and own vehicle

·        Willingness to travel locally and regionally as
required

·        Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
