Technical Support: Adjuvants

Job Description

The Technical Support: Adjuvants provides operational, administrative and technical support to the Adjuvants team. The position supports the delivery and continuous improvement of Water Analysis, Adjuvants and Biorationals services, while progressively building the technical knowledge required to assist the team and clients. This is an office-based position, and no tasks will be conducted in the field.

Main Responsibilities:

Water Analysis

• Ensure that all technical reports meet the company's quality, formatting and branding standards before being issued to clients.


• Manage and maintain the operational processes associated with report quality assurance, documentation and standardisation.


• Ensure that the Water service remains aligned with company-wide systems, procedures, documentation and operational standards.


• Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of internal systems, workflows and operational processes.


• Develop a thorough understanding of the company's internal systems and serve as a liaison between the Water team and other departments to facilitate efficient communication and problem-solving.


• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and assist with the development and implementation of streamlined processes.


• Build a strong technical understanding of water quality, laboratory analyses and report interpretation to progressively provide technical support to the team.


• Assist with technical queries, data management, PowerPoint presentations and operational coordination where required.


• Work closely with other internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of the services, reporting standards and operational processes.


• Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and consistency across all operational and quality assurance activities.


• Progressively develop the knowledge and skills required to provide technical client support and, over time, transition into selected field-based technical responsibilities.

Adjuvants & Biorationals

• Develop a strong understanding of Agri Technovation's adjuvant product portfolio, including its formulation, properties, positioning and implementation.


• Learn to bridge water quality and adjuvant product requirements to address challenges in agrochemical spray applications.


• Build knowledge of agrochemical input products used in the industry, including their chemical properties, application methods, solution requirements and the effective use of adjuvants to support their activity.


• Develop an understanding of Agri Technovation's foliar products and other biostimulant, plant growth regulator and biorational products relevant to the South African market.


• Progressively develop the knowledge and skills required to provide technical client support and, over time, transition into selected field-based technical responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Agronomy, Horticulture or Plant Science.

Experience

• Full professional proficiency in English and Afrikaans (speaking and writing).


• Excellent skills in preparing communications, reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
