A luxury safari lodge in the Timbavati is seeking an experienced and passionate Trails Guide to join their team. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury safari environment.

Requirements

• FGASA-accredited Trails Guide qualification
  


• Previous guiding experience within a luxury safari lodge environment
  


• Strong knowledge of the bush, wildlife and ecology
  


• Excellent guest engagement and communication skills
  


• Passionate about walking safaris and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  


• Professional, well-presented and guest-focused
  


• Valid driver’s licence
  


• Valid First Aid qualification
  


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  


• Strong focus on safety and responsible guiding practices
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct guided walking safaris and game drives
  


• Deliver informative, engaging and memorable guest experiences
  


• Ensure guest safety throughout all guiding activities
  


• Share knowledge of wildlife, ecology, conservation and the surrounding environment
  


• Maintain professional relationships with guests and lodge colleagues
  


• Assist with general lodge duties when required
  


• Maintain guiding equipment and ensure it is kept in good working condition
