Our client is an integrated real estate investment business that acquires, develops and manages quality property assets in selected markets in South Africa and internationally. It combines hands-on property skills with strong financial expertise, and grows its portfolio through acquisitions, disposals, developments and capital transactions. The role
This role sits in the Group deal team in Sandown, Johannesburg (Cape Town can be considered) and owns the financial analysis, modelling and due diligence behind the business's transactions, from first screening through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and stress-test cash flow, DCF, IRR/NPV, sensitivity and scenario models.
• Test deal outcomes against market, interest rate, occupancy and macroeconomic assumptions.
• Support financial due diligence: financial statements, legals, lease data, historical performance and third-party reports.
• Work with external valuers, auditors, legal and tax advisors through the transaction lifecycle.
• Prepare investment papers, deal summaries and board and investment committee materials.
• Analyse yields, cap rates, WALE, occupancy and rental growth against market comparables.
• Track the deal pipeline and post-completion performance against underwritten assumptions.

Requirements

• This is an Employment Equity position (non-negotiable). Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Commercial degree; CA(SA), CIMA, CFA or FMVA preferred.
• At least four years' experience in a similar role.
• Financial modelling and corporate finance experience (non-negotiable).
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; confident use of AI tools.
• Ideal background: corporate finance in a bank working on property deals, now in a boutique private equity-style environment.
