Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Typist to join our team in Durban, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure. As a Typist, you will be responsible for producing accurate and well-formatted documents for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Type and format a variety of documents, including reports, letters, and memos

- Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and consistency

- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems

- Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner

- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely completion of tasks

- Handle confidential information with discretion

- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Typist or in a similar role

- Excellent typing speed and accuracy

- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Contract Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

The role will be based in our office in Durban, South Africa.
