As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. Position Overview: As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This includes receiving and storing incoming shipments, organizing and maintaining inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing orders for shipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: - Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of orders - Unpack and organize merchandise in designated storage areas - Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory counts - Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently - Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and packaging - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Assist with loading and unloading trucks - Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner - Communicate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment - Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment - Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse manager or supervisor Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous warehouse experience preferred - Forklift certification a plus - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Good communication and teamwork skills - Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) - Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems - Must be able to work full-time and have reliable transportation to and from work This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.
