Job Summary: We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse General Worker to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods and materials. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers - Move and stack materials using forklifts or other equipment - Count and record incoming and outgoing shipments - Prepare orders for shipment and ensure accuracy - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies - Follow all safety procedures and guidelines - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations - Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred - Valid forklift license is an asset - Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time - Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines - Good communication and teamwork skills Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
