Warehouse / Stock Assistant - Contract

Our client is seeking a Warehouse / Stock Assistant to join their Port
Elizabeth team on a contract basis, with the possibility of permanent
employment based on performance

• Receive,
  inspect and accurately record incoming stock
  
• Pick, pack
  and dispatch stock according to company procedures
  
• Pack and
  organise shelves to ensure stock is stored correctly and safely
  
• Capture
  stock movements and transactions on Sage
  
• Update and
  maintain accurate stock locations on Sage
  
• Conduct
  regular stock checks and assist with stock takes
  
• Perform
  deliveries and collections as required
  
• Assemble
  hydraulic hose assemblies according to company standards (training will be
  provided)
  
• Maintain a
  clean, organised and safe work environment
  
• Provide
  general warehouse and operational support as required
  

Requirements

• Grade
  12
  
• Valid South
  African driver's licence (essential)
  
• Forklift
  licence will be advantageous
  
• Minimum 2
  years’ relevant experience
  
• Computer
  literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  
• Experience
  using Sage Accounting will be advantageous
  
• Hydraulic experience
  will be advantageous
  
• Physically
  fit and capable of handling stock and warehouse-related duties
  
• Good organisational and time-management skills
