IVD Clinical Applications Specialist – Spain

Location: Madrid / Spain

Reporting to National Service Manager

An exciting opportunity is now available in our service team for candidates with extensive experience of working with clinical laboratories on IVD Clinical Applications for Hematology, Biochemistry and Immunoassay analysers.  Demonstrating your familiarity with requirements of these laboratory requirements you will have two or more years clinical applications experience in this field.

Your responsibilities:

• Use clinical insight to locate customer training and application service requirements


• Develop and deliver product application training and support to customers with the target of increasing customer usage rate and satisfaction of Mindray product, including installation training, customer regular visiting, performance verification, resolving issues etc


• Deliver technical training for distributor’s application team, providing constructive suggestions for the development of distributor’s application team


• Collect and analyse products' application and clinical information to understand and meet customer requirements


• Go deep into the annual laboratory review and laboratory rating


• Understand the requirements and demands faced by customers such as review and rating, accumulate and iterate relevant experience, and give active support and guidance to key customers


• Popularize and deliver the experience to local distributors 


• Manage and support distributors from a clinical application perspective, including delivering regular train ng and certification follow-up for distributor application specialists to ensure competency and standardization. 


• Maintain daily communication with distributors, providing timely guidance and support on clinical application-related topics. 


• Provide continuous clinical application support to distributors, including troubleshooting, case discussion, and onsite/remote assistance when needed. 


• Follow up and drive key application-related tasks and projects with distributors to ensure effective execution and alignment with regional objectives.

What are we looking for in you?

• Significant work experience in clinical laboratories with good operational skills in IVD products, such as Hematology, Biochemistry, Immunoassay analysers


• Be familiar with the principle, functional characteristics, clinical application of IVD products, and the requirements and demands of laboratory review and rating


• 2 or more years of clinical application experience in IVD product companies or their distributors/partners


• Be familiar with application process, customer relationship maintenance and the requirements and demands of laboratory review and rating


• Experienced in delivering technical training of IVD products


• Experienced in on-site technical support, such as troubleshooting


• Fluent written and spoken English


• Ability to work in Spain without the requirement of company sponsorship


• Prepared to travel  70% of the time
