Country Manager, Produal Spain

Produal develops reliable measurement and control solutions for building automation and HVAC professionals. With Nordic roots and deep technical expertise, we combine high-quality products with responsive, local support. Our ambition is simple: to be the easiest company in our industry to work with—for customers, partners and colleagues. Produal is part of Bemsiq Group, an international group of innovative companies advancing smarter, more sustainable buildings and operations.

As part of a planned leadership transition, we are looking for a commercially driven, people-focused leader to join us as Country Manager for Produal Spain.

Your role

As Country Manager, you will own the development, performance and profitability of Produal Spain. This broad leadership role combines strategic direction with hands-on commercial, people and operational management.

You will lead the Spanish team, strengthen our position in the local building automation market and deliver sustainable, profitable growth. You will stay close to customers and partners while collaborating with colleagues across Produal and Bemsiq Group.

You will report to the VP, Region South-Continental Europe.

What you will do

· Own the performance of Produal Spain, including sales, profitability, budgeting, forecasting and operational efficiency.

· Translate group strategy into clear annual and long-term business plans that grow sales, market share and profitability.

· Lead, coach and develop the Spanish team, fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performing culture.

· Define and execute the local sales strategy in line with Produal’s direction.

· Build strong relationships with engineering consultants, planners, system integrators, installers, distributors, channel partners and strategic customers.

· Drive specification activities so that Produal solutions are considered early in project development.

· Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, customer segments and routes to market.

· Develop key accounts and lead high-value customer negotiations.

· Turn market trends, customer needs and competitor insights into informed commercial decisions.

· Collaborate with international colleagues across Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and People & Culture.

· Represent Produal at relevant industry events, exhibitions and associations.

The role requires regular travel within Spain and occasional international travel.

What will help you succeed

You are an experienced commercial leader who understands project-based technical sales and can turn market opportunities into sustainable results. You think strategically, act pragmatically and enjoy working closely with customers, partners and your team.

You are likely to succeed in this role if you bring:

· Proven experience in project-based sales in HVAC, BMS, building automation, controls or a related technical industry.

· A strong understanding of solution sales involving engineering companies, system integrators, installers and contractors.

· Experience leading and developing teams, setting clear expectations and delivering results through others.

· Sound financial acumen, including experience with budgets, P&L, forecasting and performance management.

· Knowledge of the Spanish BMS and HVAC market and its key stakeholders.

· Strong commercial judgement, customer focus and negotiation skills.

· The ability to work effectively in an international matrix organisation and collaborate across functions and cultures.

· A relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, business or economics.

· Native-level Spanish and professional fluency in English.

Most importantly, you lead by example, take ownership and build trust. You move comfortably between strategic planning and practical execution, and you inspire others to work towards shared goals.

What we offer

This is an opportunity to lead and develop an established local business, backed by an international organisation with strong technical expertise and ambitious growth plans.

You can expect:

· A visible leadership role with real influence over the future of Produal Spain.

· The freedom to shape the local growth strategy and strengthen our market position.

· Access to an international network of experienced colleagues and specialists.

· A collaborative, supportive culture built on trust, accountability and shared success.

· Opportunities to grow professionally and develop your career.

· A competitive salary and benefits package, including a performance-based bonus.
