We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Country General Manager to lead and further develop AsstrA’s business in Spain.
This role requires a strong focus on business growth, customer development and market expansion. The first priority will be to strengthen sales activity, develop new business opportunities and build a solid commercial pipeline. At the same time, the Country General Manager will be responsible for organizing and improving local business processes, team performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the business development strategy for Spain.
- Actively drive sales growth and new customer acquisition.
- Personally participate in key customer meetings, negotiations and strategic commercial activities.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients and business partners.
- Build, manage and develop the local team.
- Improve internal processes, cooperation and operational performance.
- Monitor business results, KPIs, profitability and market development.
- Ensure effective cooperation with AsstrA teams in other countries.
- Represent AsstrA on the Spanish logistics market.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics or transport.
- Strong commercial background and successful experience in business development.
- Experience in managing a team, business unit or country organization.
- Ability to develop sales activity and build business from the market.
- Understanding of operational processes in logistics.
- Experience in managing business results, KPIs and profitability.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
