Data Scientist/Analyst

We're looking for a Data Scientist/Analyst ready to own the implementation and optimization of cutting -edge RAG pipelines and integrate advanced vector databases. You will be the catalyst transforming data into business impact, collaborating weekly at a vibrant Barcelona hub with tech leaders from across Europe. Expect a role where your mathematical and statistical expertise will directly build AI solutions—not just research ideas, but engineer them into reality.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize RAG pipelines and data -driven AI solutions.
  
• Integrate and manage advanced vector databases (such as Databricks) to power real -world applications.
  
• Leverage Azure Data Lakehouse, Azure Synapse, and Azure Fabric to deploy scalable data projects.
  
• Use Python, SQL, and DevOps tools to turn customer needs into actionable solutions.
  
• Participate in regular Agile sprints and collaborate with cross -border teams.
  
• Deploy models to the cloud with Azure DevOps or AzureML.
  
• Stay ahead by incorporating best AI practices and emerging technologies.
  

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in natural science, mathematics, computer science, finance, engineering, or similar field (PhD is a plus).
  
• 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer.
  
• Strong grasp of data structures, AI vector databases, and mathematical/statistical concepts.
  
• Hands -on experience with Python programming, SQL, and git.
  
• Proven know -how in cloud (preferably Azure) solutions deployment.
  
• Fluent in English (C1 level).
  
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology.
  
• Demonstrated interest in current AI advancements and best practices.
  
• Experience with Azure Data Lakehouse, Synapse, Fabric, and RAG implementations is a plus.
  
• Located in or near Barcelona, able to be onsite one day per week.
