Supernovas is an EIT Community initiative aiming to increase female presence in the entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem, as well as support women already active in it. EIT Community - Women Entrepreneurship (Supernovas) is coordinated among EIT Food, EIT Digital and EIT Urban Mobility.
The EIT Supernovas Ecosystem and Stakeholder Manager is a position under EIT Community – Women Entrepreneurship (Supernovas) initiative managed by EIT Urban Mobility – Impact Ventures team, directly reporting to Impact Ventures Head of Start-up Programmes.
The EIT Supernovas Ecosystem and Stakeholder Manager is responsible for the overall coordination, execution and strategic development of the Supernovas initiative, including the effective delivery of activities within Supernovas and the EIT Community Women Entrepreneurship initiative across participating KICs (EIT Food, EIT Digital – 28Digital, and EIT Urban Mobility).
The role encompasses programme management, ecosystem engagement, stakeholder coordination, communications oversight, and strategic partnership development within the European innovation ecosystem.

The role requires a combination of rigorous project and programme management capabilities with excellent relationship-building, communication and representation skills, acting as both the operational lead and external ambassador of the Supernovas initiative across the broad European innovation ecosystem.
EIT Supernovas Ecosystem and Stakeholder Manager will be responsible of the following tasks:
Supernovas’ activities coordination and accountability
• Assume overall accountability for the successful delivery of the Supernovas Business Plan.
• Supervise and coordinate all Supernovas activities through structured planning and tracking of tasks, deliverables, KPIs, milestones, deadlines and responsibilities, ensuring roles clarity and timely execution across the consortium.
• Establish and maintain project management processes and governance mechanisms to ensure transparency, accountability and effective decision-making.
• Act as Supernovas’ spokesperson for EIT. Represent Supernovas in EIT cluster meetings.
• Ensure alignment across a cross-organisational team of 6 people from EIT Urban Mobility, EIT Food and 28Digital, maintaining a coherent and joint programme narrative.
• Organise and facilitate weekly and in-person Supernovas’ team meetings (a minimum of 2 per year), including agenda preparation, facilitation and follow-up.
• Facilitate cross-KIC collaboration, proactively addressing operational challenges and resolving conflicts when required.
Stakeholder engagement and external representation
• Serve as a key representative and ambassador of Supernovas across the European innovation, entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem.
• Build, manage and strengthen relationships with strategic stakeholders, including the European Commission, European Innovation Council, European Investment Fund, investors, corporates, start-up support organisations and entrepreneurship networks such as Female Founders, Unlock VC, EU Women in VC and others.
• Represent Supernovas at conferences, ecosystem events, working groups, panels and institutional meetings.
• Develop stakeholder engagement strategies that increase programme visibility, participation, impact and long-term financial sustainability of Supernovas.
Communications and community development
• Maintain a coherent programme narrative and ensure consistency of messaging across partners and communication channels.
• Coordinate programme communications with participating KICs and communications teams.
• Support the growth and engagement of Supernovas Community and other strategic communities, including investors, founders and ecosystem partners.
• Act as a key spokesperson and ambassador for Supernovas, representing the initiative at European conferences, ecosystem events, institutional meetings and high-level stakeholder engagements.
• Develop and deliver presentations, strategic briefings and programme updates to senior stakeholders, partners and public audiences.
Business planning, reporting and financial oversight
• Lead the preparation of annual Business Plans, strategic roadmaps and programme presentations for EIT and partner organisations.
• Own the full reporting cycle towards the XKIC Cluster Lead from EIT Community and EIT, including writing reports, ensuring the team delivers the necessary inputs on time.
• Lead the definition and coordinate execution of Supernovas’ financial sustainability and monetisation strategy.
• Monitor programme budgets, expenditures and forecasts, ensuring alignment with approved Business Plans, funding requirements and financial targets.
• Ensure timely financial tracking, budget reporting and resource allocation across programme activities and participating partners.
• Support evidence-based decision-making through programme performance analysis and reporting.
External providers
• Coordinate the procurement, contracting, and management of external providers required for the implementation of Supernovas activities with the different KICs.
• Oversee the execution and delivery of outsourced activities, ensuring alignment with programme objectives, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
What you will bring along the way:
Must-haves:
• A university degree in Business, International Relations, Innovation Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of professional experience managing complex multi-stakeholder programmes, projects or partnerships involving multiple organisations, budgets and senior stakeholders, ideally within innovation, entrepreneurship, or EU-funded environments.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Proven ability to build, manage and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including start-ups, investors, corporates, public institutions, academia and ecosystem organisations at European level.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and public speaking skills, with the ability to confidently represent programmes and organisations in meetings, conferences, panels and high-level stakeholder engagements.
• Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to translate long-term objectives into actionable plans, partnerships and measurable outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a disciplined approach to execution, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
• High degree of ownership, autonomy and professional maturity, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges and stakeholder management.
• Collaborative, proactive and solution-oriented approach with high emotional intelligence and ability to thrive in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
• Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
• Professional experience within the European innovation ecosystem, particularly in programmes related to gender equality, entrepreneurship, or investment.
• Existing network of stakeholders across the start-up and investment landscape (accelerators, investors, ecosystem builders, corporates).
• Knowledge of EIT structure, Horizon Europe, or other EU funding mechanisms, including EIT Supernovas
• Experience working in public-private partnerships, multi-country collaborations or European consortium-based projects.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools and stakeholder engagement platforms.
• Experience moderating, facilitating, or representing organisations in high-level panels, events, or workshops.
• A passion for promoting gender balance and inclusion in entrepreneurship and innovation.
