Click&Boat is the European leader in boat rentals. Our marketplace makes boating accessible around the world, from a day trip to a week-long adventure, while enabling private and professional boat owners to generate additional income through rentals.
To support this growth, we are hiring an Operations Specialist to join a dynamic team in our Barcelona office and continue building a world-class, creative organization by finding the best talent for our incredible culture.
This role will give you a strong connection to the real business: bookings, payments, owners, customers.
You will join the FinOps team, which sits at the crossroads of Operations, Payments and Customer Experience.
Your job is not accounting, not FP&A, not payroll, it’s making sure money flows correctly, on time, and without friction.
You will work daily with our operational teams:
Supply (boat owners)
Sales (tenants & bookings)
Customer Care (after-sales, incidents, changes)
You’ll be at the heart of daily operations:
Review and manage customer payments and partner payouts
Handle booking changes (modifications, cancellations)
Ensure commissions, amounts and currencies are correct
Supervise daily payment flows handled by interns
Resolve complex or high-impact cases that don’t fit standard procedures
Validate large payment batches and exceptional transfers
👉 This is a role for someone who likes numbers + problem-solving, not repetitive accounting.
Once the operational basics are mastered, you’ll also:
Prepare simple, meaningful KPIs (cash flows, disputes, cancellations…)
Own monthly reconciliations
Contribute to monthly closing tasks related to tenants & owners balances
Identify friction points in payment or reconciliation processes
Help automate and simplify manual workflows
Document processes and update internal knowledge base
Train and support finance interns
Act as a reference point on operational topics
You have 2–3 years of experience, ideally in operations, admin, finance ops, payroll, data, customer ops, or a startup environment
You like numbers, even if you’re not a “finance profile”
You enjoy solving concrete problems, not theoretical models
You’re comfortable working with Excel and data
You like interacting with different teams and explaining things clearly
You’re reliable, structured, and detail-oriented
You are proficient in English; Spanish or French are a big plus.
