Composite Production Manager + R&D Technician

Location: Madrid, Spain

Recrewit is recruiting a Composite Production Manager + R&D Technician for a company working on advanced composite materials and industrial development projects.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day running of a composites workshop and development laboratory. You’ll manufacture parts and demonstrators, support material and process trials, prepare tests, and help turn development work into reliable manufacturing processes.

What you’ll do

• Plan and carry out the manufacture of composite parts and demonstrators, particularly using thermoset resin infusion.


• Organise workshop activities, materials, consumables and tooling across multiple projects.


• Support R&D and industrial projects through fabrication, testing, inspection and quality control.


• Carry out composite repairs, structural bonding, insert installation, assembly and finishing work.


• Help introduce and validate new equipment, materials and manufacturing processes.


• Maintain production and test records, monitor stock, and ensure the workshop and laboratory operate safely and efficiently.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in resin infusion and the ability to define and carry out wet manufacturing processes independently.


• Strong practical knowledge of resin systems, reinforcements and infusion consumables.


• Broad workshop skills, including basic metrology, dimensional inspection, repairs and final quality checks.


• The ability to organise your own work, solve practical problems and manage changing priorities.


• Enough English to understand technical documentation and communicate in a professional setting.

Experience with prepreg, RTM or other composite manufacturing processes would be welcome. CAD, three-axis CNC, structural adhesives and mould making skills are also valuable.
