Descripción del trabajo - Regional Communications Specialist Southern EMEA (m/f/d)

WELCOME TO OUR TEAM

If you're someone who inspires others, owns their impact and wants to elevate what they do, you'll fit right in.

Until July 1, our business was part of BASF. As part of the current transition, all job listings and the application process are still hosted on the BASF platform and therefore fully presented in BASF branding. All roles are positions at Surventis, and your application comes directly to us.

At Surventis, we go beyond the surface - in everything we do. We put customers at the center, think one step ahead, and develop solutions that create real value and lasting partnerships. We inspire each other to think further, take ownership of our work, and constantly push to elevate what's possible. If you bring your full self, challenge the obvious answer, and want to grow with a team that means it – this is your place.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Our Communications team works closely with the business to ensure our strategy is understood and our story is heard. As Regional Communications Specialist Southern EMEA, you give the Surventis brand its voice in Spain, Portugal, Türkiye and across Southern Europe. You shape how Surventis shows up in your region: sharp communication and media strategies, a strong regional network, and stories that earn trust. You work hand in hand with our business units to strengthen our reputation and keep our people engaged and in the loop.

  • You build and nurture relationships with media, industry associations and key external stakeholders, and make sure Surventis is visible and respected in the region.

  • You craft tailored communication plans and messages that land, especially for strategic projects and organizational transformations.

  • You coordinate crisis communication and issue management with internal partners, including EHS.

  • You support our leaders with compelling speeches, presentations and briefing materials for media moments and corporate events.

  • You create content for internal and external audiences, from press releases to intranet stories and social posts, in a voice that is unmistakably Surventis.

  • You bring global messages to life locally and adapt them for employees, digitally and on site.

  • You are an ambassador for our brand, as a company and as an employer, in your region.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field

  • Several years of experience in internal and external communications in an international corporate environment

  • Proven experience in media relations, change communications and crisis communications, ideally with an existing network in Spanish media

  • Strong writing skills across formats, from speeches and press releases to social posts

  • Strong advisory skills and proven experience working with leaders and stakeholders at all levels

  • A creative mind, a proactive and structured working style, networking talent and a knack for solving problems

  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Confident with communication tools and platforms (e.g., CMS) and genuinely curious about AI

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish; Portuguese, French, Turkish or Italian is a plus

WHAT WE OFFER

  • The chance to shape the image of Surventis in a fast-moving, supportive environment, with the latest AI tools built into everyday communications.

  • 30 vacation days/year (full-time).

  • Attractive salary with individual benefits such as performance-related bonuses.

  • Company-funded supplementary health insurance, accident insurance and an attractive pension plan.

  • Local and global development and career opportunities for professional and personal development.

  • A feedback culture firmly integrated into our corporate culture, e.g., through regular employee surveys and management feedback.
