Description

To liaise with the kitchen counter, chefs and the restaurant.

To pick up the food from the kitchen as per the Senior Chef orders and hands over to the Waiter in the Restaurant.

Facilitate clearance, takes back the used crockery from the restaurant and pass over to the cleaning counter.

Assists in performing minor tasks like arranging bread basket, cutting lemons, preparing simple sauces.

Able to safely transport hot and liquid items to and from the kitchen areas.

Maintain a clean Dining / Pantry area.

Polishes silver, using burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth.

Holds inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces.

Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand .

Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.

Sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.

Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
