Sales Area Manager - Hospitality m/f/d

As an Area Manager - Hospitality Access Solutions, you will be responsible for driving business growth, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and expanding Honeywell's market presence within the hospitality sector across Spain.

In this role, you will lead the commercial development of the Onity portfolio, supporting hotels, hospitality operators, and strategic partners in adopting innovative electronic locking systems, mobile access solutions, and integrated property technologies that enhance security, operational efficiency, and the guest experience.

You will report directly to the Regional Director and work in a hybrid environment based in San Sebastian or Madrid.

As the primary customer-facing representative for your territory, you will identify new business opportunities, develop long-term partnerships within the hospitality industry, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading solutions and exceed commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and market penetration for Onity’s hospitality access solutions across the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners, hospitality groups, management companies, consultants, and channel partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships to maximise revenue and market share.
• Promote advanced hospitality technologies, including electronic locking systems, mobile access, and connected guest experience platforms.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Project Management, and Technical Support teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs while ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual commitments, and industry standards.

Key skills and qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer relationship management within the hospitality, access control, security technology, or building technology sectors.
• Proven success managing key accounts and developing business within the hotel industry.
• Strong understanding of hospitality technology solutions, including electronic locking systems, access control, mobile keys, and digital guest experience platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and commercial skills, with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, with an established network or experience working within the Spanish hospitality market.
• Customer-focused and passionate about innovation, with the willingness to travel across Spain as required.
