Senior Solutions Engineer

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in helping customers understand how technology can solve complex business and quality challenges within the highly regulated Life Sciences industry.

You will partner closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams throughout the customer engagement and sales lifecycle. Your role is to understand the customer’s business, processes and objectives, translate these into meaningful solution approaches, and clearly communicate how our solutions can deliver measurable value.

You will combine business acumen, technical understanding, industry knowledge and consultative skills to guide customers from initial discovery through solution definition and demonstration.

This is a hybrid role based in our Badalona Honeywell site and will require travelling at least once a month.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer goals, challenges, and processes, leading discovery sessions to gather insights.
• Design and deliver customized solution demonstrations that align with customer-specific business processes and needs.
• Apply knowledge of Life Sciences and regulatory environments to develop solutions that comply with quality and compliance expectations.
• Partner with Sales to devise effective solution strategies for complex opportunities and assess customer requirements to ensure fit and viability.
• Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to relay customer feedback, address product gaps, and ensure alignment with implementation goals.
• Contribute to the improvement of Solution Engineering processes and share best practices across the organization.

Key skills and qualifications

• Proven experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technology role, ideally within regulated industries such as Life Sciences or pharmaceuticals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative skills with the ability to understand and translate complex business and technical requirements.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the capability to convey technical concepts as clear business value.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across Sales, Product, and Delivery teams, with a strong customer-centric mindset.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements and industry events, with fluent communication skills in English and Spanish languages is a must.
• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS solutions, RFP/RFI processes, and principles of GxP, Quality Management, and data integrity.
