Event Project Coordinator Intern

EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for motivated candidates to join its teams as an Event Project Coordinator Intern .

You will help prepare and coordinate events for EIC audiences. You will support projects ranging from professional gatherings to community activities, with a focus on the participant experience.

International professional experience in Barcelona.

You will work in an international professional environment that values collaboration, initiative and learning through practical work. A supervisor will help you understand priorities and take on responsibilities as your skills develop.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Concept development: contribute to event formats, objectives and programs.
• Planning: map out preparation stages and track deadlines.
• Suppliers: research venues and suppliers, compare proposals and follow up on discussions.
• Budget: prepare estimates and track spending with supervisor approval.
• Communications: prepare invitations, materials and practical information for participants.
• Logistics: coordinate registrations, equipment and speaker requirements.
• Event delivery: support reception, schedule management and responses to unexpected issues.
• Debrief: gather feedback and review participation, costs and potential improvements.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• You are studying events, communications, tourism or project management.
• You enjoy organizing projects and coordinating different stakeholders.
• You are thorough when tracking deadlines, budgets and logistical details.
• You are responsive, service-minded and comfortable working with people.
• You are comfortable communicating in English. French is an asset for collaboration with French-speaking colleagues and audiences.
• You can work collaboratively, seek feedback and suggest practical improvements.
