Marketing Intern (Content & Web) - Barcelona

Write it, design it, film it, publish it, and see the results. Learn how modern marketing really works.

At Ukio, our marketing team works with AI tools and structured workflows to produce and ship content fast, across several European markets. As our Marketing Intern, you won't specialise in one thing. You'll write SEO pages, edit videos, build pages in Webflow and support paid campaigns. You'll end the year with a portfolio of published work and hands-on experience across the whole digital marketing funnel.

What you'll do |

Content & SEO

• Create SEO content with AI tools, then edit and proofread it until it's accurate and on-brand
• Translate and adapt English content into Spanish while keeping its SEO intent
• Optimise existing pages and create new content based on keyword research

Web & Publishing

• Build, edit and publish pages in Webflow (with Sanity CMS), formatted for readability and SEO
• Keep templates and structure consistent across markets
• Look after the site: update pages, fix broken links and upload assets

Visual & Video

• Generate images with AI and adapt them in Canva for web, ads and email
• Produce and edit short-form video for social media and YouTube
• Help run our YouTube channel: uploads, thumbnails, titles, descriptions and tags
• Take photos of our team, apartments and spaces during internal shoots
• Keep our asset library organised and on-brand

Paid Advertising

• Help set up and launch campaigns on Google Ads and Meta
• Write ad copy variations for testing across markets
• Prepare and resize creative for different placements and formats
• Keep campaign naming and structure consistent

Reporting

• Keep content and campaign trackers up to date in Google Sheets
• Help put together recurring performance reports across channels

What you'll learn |

• How to use AI tools to create content at scale without losing quality
• How SEO, web, creative and paid media work together to drive growth
• How to read and act on performance metrics like CPC, CTR, CPA and ROAS
• How a scaling startup runs marketing across several international markets

Who you are |

• You speak Spanish at a native or C2 level, with good written and spoken English
• You write well, proofread carefully and can adapt your style to web pages, ads and other formats
• You're comfortable using AI tools for content and image generation, which is central to how we work
• You can use Canva (or similar) and do basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere or similar)
• You have a basic understanding of paid media metrics (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS)
• You're comfortable working in Google Sheets
• You're organised and detail-oriented, and you can juggle several projects at once
• You're interested in digital marketing across the whole funnel

Bonus points |

• Another Romance language: Portuguese, Italian or French
• Experience with Webflow or another CMS
• Some exposure to Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager
• Basic photography skills or a good eye for composition
• Familiarity with GA4, PostHog or keyword research tools

The details |

• Duration: Ideally 6+ months
• Location: Barcelona office, hybrid (1 day/week from home)
• Breakfast at the office, fruit, snacks, free coffee and tea (and popcorn!)
