Real Estate Investment & Development Intern

EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for motivated candidates to join its teams as a Real Estate Investment & Development Intern.

You will help assess real estate opportunities and location or accommodation options related to EIC activities. You will combine market research, financial analysis and information coordination.

This internship is based in Barcelona, Spain.

You will work in an international professional environment that values collaboration, initiative and learning through practical work. A supervisor will help you understand priorities and take on responsibilities as your skills develop.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Market monitoring: follow local markets and identify opportunities relevant to the needs under review.
• Research: compare properties, residences and locations using agreed criteria.
• Analysis: compare costs, potential income and occupancy terms.
• Modeling: support profitability and funding scenarios under supervision.
• Stakeholder contact: prepare discussions with owners, managers and property partners.
• Documentation: gather available technical, commercial and contractual information.
• Coordination: help arrange site visits and follow up on information requests.
• Recommendations: summarize each option’s benefits, constraints and outstanding questions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• You are studying real estate, finance, business or management.
• You are interested in real estate investment and location strategy.
• You use Excel and can compare quantitative and qualitative information.
• You are organized and comfortable communicating with external stakeholders.
• You are comfortable communicating in English. French is an asset for collaboration with French-speaking colleagues and audiences.
• You can work collaboratively, seek feedback and suggest practical improvements.
