At Jeppesen’s office in central Gothenburg you will work in a one-of-a-kind software development organization with solutions that make a real difference to people around the world. How do we best use AI to keep our competitive edge? That question is very much alive across our organization right now. Our AI enablement team works closely with product teams across the organization. We don't deliver finished features ourselves — we help other teams understand what's possible, show them how to build it and support them along the way. The work is hands-on, collaborative and moves fast.

About you

You're a software developer or machine learning engineer who has gotten genuinely into generative AI. You've built things with it that actually work in production, and you understand what that takes.

You're the kind of person who picks things up and runs with them. When something needs to happen, you figure out how to make it happen without waiting to be told. You ask when you're unsure, but then you move.

You also like helping other developers grow. You contribute in meetings, you share what you know and you're comfortable jumping into an unfamiliar team and being useful quickly. You think about how your own work can be done better and faster, and you're already using AI tools to get there. You move between teams and contexts with ease, enjoy meeting new people and you're deliberate about how you hand over knowledge when you move on so that the value you created stays behind.

What we think you have

• Drive to teach, coach and inspire others


• A solid software engineering foundation. You write code that others can read, test and build on. You think about clean interfaces and long-term maintainability, not just getting something to run.


• Real experience working with LLMs in practice like context management, tool calling, structured output, retrieval. You know which details matter when you need something to behave reliably, not just impressively.


• Experience building agents or agentic systems and an understanding of what makes them fail. You think about failure modes, state, fallbacks and how to know when something has gone wrong.


• Experience from the production phase of an AI product — not just shipping it, but the ongoing work of keeping it running, handling real edge cases and improving it based on how actual users interact with it.


• Some instinct for evals and observability. You care about whether what you shipped is actually working, and you've thought about how to measure that.


• Comfortable developing and running AI systems in a cloud environment. You don't need to be a cloud infrastructure specialist, but you need to be able to find your way around and get things deployed without being blocked.

Meriting experience

• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow)


• Experience with data pipelines and orchestration

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area of

Gothenburg or relocate at their own expense.
