Job Description - Amdocs Helix Administrator

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.

Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.

Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.

Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

Senior Amdocs Helix Administrator with 5+ years of experience in application/platform administration and proven expertise in Amdocs Helix upgrades, migrations, and production support.

Maintain platform stability, executing upgrades and patches, and supporting the platform in a production environment.

Administer, maintain, and support the Amdocs Helix platform in a production environment.

Lead and execute platform upgrades, patch installations, and version migrations with minimal service disruption.

Perform system configuration, platform health monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Conduct root cause analysis for complex platform and integration issues.

Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and vendor teams to resolve incidents and maintain platform stability.

Develop and maintain upgrade plans, implementation procedures, rollback strategies, and technical documentation.

Support incident, problem, and change management activities related to the platform.

Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, operational efficiency, and support processes.

Hands-on experience as an Amdocs Helix Administrator.

Strong experience with Helix upgrades, migrations, and patch management.

Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, database concepts, and application support.

Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex platform and integration issues.

Experience working in telecommunications environments.

Knowledge of Shell/Python scripting and automation.

Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
