Cheese Category Portfolio Manager - Stockholm

Are you passionate about driving category & business growth and want to join a market leading international FMCG organization? Arla Foods are now looking for a Cheese Category Portfolio Manager who will be based in our Swedish Head office in Stockholm/Solna. Responsibility includes driving our ambitious End-to-End Cheese category growth plan in line with our End-to-End Cheese strategy. Your scope includes delivering growth for our market leading cheese brands (Arla, Arla Ko and Kvibille) as well as for our private label business.

How you will make an impact

You will be part of the Swedish Marketing Organization, reporting to the Senior Manager of Yellow Cheese & Cooking Cheese in Sweden. You will initiate, drive and implement category and portfolio initiatives across brands and retail customers ensuring the delivery of growth for the category and for Arla Foods. To succeed you will need to:

• Become an expert of shopper and consumer drivers for the category segments in scope and identify white spaces and growth initiatives


• Build consumer and commercial insights to ensure that key strategic initiatives and projects translate back to external and internal needs and opportunities


• Develop strategic rationale and commercial assessment through to business case on key initiatives and projects


• Build End-to-End understanding and appreciation within the cheese value chain


• Lead the identified key projects from start to execution – executing a clear project plan to milestones, managing risks & scenarios, stakeholder management and sell-in rationale as required to deliver goals


• Monitor & track results

What will make you successful

To thrive in this role, we believe you are business savvy and results orientated with a strong marketing and/or commercial track record within FMCG. You come with strong category / shopper analysis skills, experience in project leadership, and you are a great influencer and communicator who navigates with ease around stakeholders on various levels. You have a strong passion for growing business and are motivated by challenging growth targets. Ideally, you have been leading product launches /GTM projects. Naturally, you communicate fluently in English, both written and verbally.
