Job Description - Cloud Infra Admin Consultant

We are looking for a Cloud Infra Admin Consultant in Stockholm

On behalf of the client, we are looking for a Cloud Infra Administrator in Stockholm for a 24/7 on-duty service, which is a 4 man rotation for one week at the time. Must be able to work in June and July month 2024.

The client is looking for an experienced resourceful Cloud infrastructure Administrator that will help them run production environments as well as maintain their office networks and IT infrastructure.

You will be working in a team but also independently, so you should have the ability and patience to communicate with a variety of teams and people within the company. Your goal will be to ensure that the technology infrastructure runs smoothly, efficiently, stand up to modern security requirements and is properly documented.

Qualifications and experience

- Proven experience as a Cloud infrastructure administrator or similar role.

- Strong knowledge in AWS cloud.

- Strong planning and organizing skills.

- Experience with databases, networks (LAN/WAN), patch management.

- Experience of scripting and process automation to reduce the manual workload for the team (bash and powershell).

- Strong knowledge about security and wanting to implement it. Not taking the easy and less secure way out.

- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.

- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, Linux and Windows as a minimum.

- Participate in routine audits of systems and software.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues.
