Contract Responsible - Production Gripen Export

Your role

The Gripen Brazil contract now requires additional resources, including a contract manager, to meet our delivery commitments. You will be part of an experienced team of contract managers, focusing primarily on system development and hardware deliveries.

As the contract manager for production milestones within the Gripen Export contract, you will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver according to the contract, making necessary contract updates, and negotiating with the customer. This work is conducted in collaboration with program management, other contract managers, and the Saab units responsible for the delivery. A significant part of your work will involve monitoring operations, engaging in strategic dialogues with program management and contract owners, ensuring deliveries, negotiating with the customer, planning and conducting presentations, and ensuring adherence to the specified contract framework.

The role of contract manager within the Gripen Export business contract requires a combination of operational management skills, a good technical understanding of Gripen and our methodologies, business maturity, as well as respect and understanding of cultural differences.

The work entails a certain number of travel days and overnight stays per year, mostly to Brazil.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
