• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.

Requirements

• Perform a Data Steward, Data Domain Lead, Data Governance Consultant, or Data Architecture role rather than a Data Engineer or Data Analyst role.
  


• Define the Data Domain scope, including attributes, roles, and stakeholders.
  


• Define data definitions and establish governance practices for managing critical data elements within the domain scope, including standards, lineage, stakeholder management, and data ownership.
  


• Participate in and organize meetings and working groups to coordinate efforts and drive strategic decisions.
  


• Gather requirements from various departments to understand their specific data needs.
  


• Establish and implement data standards, rules, and quality requirements.
  


• Identify and document key business processes and applications related to the domain scope.
  


• Identify potential gaps in application, technical, and business lineage, and drive remediation activities.
  


• Perform in-depth analysis of information and data to become a subject matter expert in IT applications and infrastructure data.
