As part of our growth journey, we are now looking for a Director, Sales Operations to establish and shape our Sales Operations function.

Role Overview

As the Director, Sales Operations at Antaros Medical, you will lead and develop the Sales Operations team while overseeing the end-to-end quote-to-contract process. Working closely with the VP Global Business Development, you will support proposals, pricing, contracts, and strategic client engagements, collaborating across Business Development, Finance, Legal, Scientific, and Operations teams as well as with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide. As Antaros Medical continues to grow, you will play a key role in building a scalable Sales Operations function that supports operational excellence and sustainable commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Process Excellence

• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end quote-to-contract process.

• Build scalable processes, governance, and ways of working to support commercial growth.

• Drive operational excellence across proposals, pricing, contracts, and commercial documentation.

• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency.

• Partner closely with the VP Global Business Development to support strategic commercial initiatives.

• Build and lead a scalable Sales Operations function to support Antaros Medical’s continued growth.

Commercial Operations

• Ensure delivery of high-quality proposals, study budgets, pricing processes, and commercial documentation through the Sales Operations team.

• Ensure proposals, budgets, and client submissions are delivered accurately and on time.

• Maintain pricing governance, approval workflows, and commercial controls.

• Manage CRM data quality, proposal tracking, pipeline reporting, and operational metrics.

Contracting & Commercial Governance

• Lead the commercial contracting process, including MSAs, SOWs, CDAs, DPAs, Change Orders, and vendor agreements.

• Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, and Business Development to manage contractual and commercial risk.

• Support commercial negotiations and discussions with clients and procurement stakeholders.

• Ensure effective contract lifecycle management, governance, and document control.

Strategic Business Support

• Act as a trusted commercial partner to the VP Global Business Development and Business Development Directors.

• Lead and develop the Sales Operations team while providing senior commercial leaderships for complex and strategic customer opportunities.

• Provide senior commercial support for Key and Growth Accounts, particularly for complex commercial, contractual, and procurement-related matters.

• Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Operations, Imaging Science, Legal, and Finance to ensure alignment throughout the customer lifecycle.

• Provide commercial insights and operational support to forecasting, planning, reporting, and strategic commercial initiatives.

You are a strong communicator and relationship builder who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable working with internal stakeholders, clients, and procurement teams. You enjoy building scalable processes within a growing organisation while remaining hands-on when needed.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Proposal Management, Contracts Management, or a similar role.

• Proven experience managing the full quote-to-contract lifecycle, including proposals, budgets, pricing, contracts, and change orders.

• Extensive experience from a CRO, life sciences, pharmaceutical services, biotech, MedTech, clinical research, or another project-based services environment.

• Strong commercial, financial, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Experience supporting customer-facing commercial activities and interacting with external clients.

• Experience working with CRM platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, and advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent communication skills and professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Familiarity with service-based pricing models.

Advantageous

• Experience from an imaging CRO or specialist CRO focused on clinical research services.

• Experience supporting strategic pharmaceutical accounts and global commercial contracting.

• Degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience working with procurement and sourcing functions within pharmaceutical or biotech organizations.

• Previous leadership experience or a strong interest in developing and leading teams as the Sales Operations function grows.
