Embedded Systems Engineer

We are seeking an Embedded Systems and Software Engineer with at least a couple of years of experience in low-level C firmware coding, scripting, software engineering, mechatronics, requirements analysis, and documentation.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving technical quality, delivering solutions that meet customer needs, and sharing their expertise to support the continuous improvement of our development processes. This role is a key link between our high-level application software and the underlying mechanical systems and electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the system design of new products

• Maintain and develop functionality of existing products

• Develop algorithms to control pressure, temperature, positioning, and other system parameters

• Develop software that controls various components, including stepper motors, dc motors, valves and more

• Communicate protocol development and maintenance

• Debug and troubleshoot electronic hardware and embedded systems.

• Contribute to and continuously improve our agile development process using Azure DevOps.

• Continuously expand your knowledge and share your expertise with the team.

Skills/Experience

• BSc/MSc degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience with bare-metal C programming for embedded systems.

• Proficiency in scripting using Python.

• Ability to understand circuit diagrams and interpret technical datasheets.

• Knowledge of signal processing and communication protocols, such as Ethernet, CAN, SPI, RS232, and I2C.

• Knowledge of and interest in higher-level software development using Java or C# is beneficial
