Now we’re looking for a HSE Manager, Sweden to join our passionate team and help us shape the future of food and beverages. You will be based at our tortilla factory in Landskrona, Sweden. You will report to the HSE Director, and be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe.
 

Your role in the blend
 

As HSE Manager in Landskrona, you will lead the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs to build a strong safety culture with zero accidents as the goal. You will ensure full compliance with Swedish legislation, company HSE policies, and customer requirements across the site. The role drives continuous improvement in HSE performance through risk management, audits, training and collaboration with local stakeholders. As our HSE Manager you will be part of the Factory Management Team, and support the factory operations and offices on our Zero Accident objective.
 

In this role, you will

• Implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures and management systems in line with local regulations and company standards
• Drive safety culture initiatives, including risk assessments, incident investigations and actions
• Ensure compliance with HSE legal requirements through audits, reporting and documentation
• Support managers and employees with HSE guidance, training and best practices
• Monitor and report HSE performance, including incidents, safety observations and energy-related metrics
• Tavel occasionally to other sites within Paulig

Your key ingredients

You are a person who is passionate about health, safety and environmental excellence and believes in building a strong, proactive safety culture. You work hands-on and tactically, collaborate easily across all levels and continuously look for ways to reduce risk and improve performance.

To succeed in this role, you likely have

•  A university degree in environmental science, engineering or a related field, or be a certified HSE Professional.
• At least 5 years of experience in HSE roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of Swedish HSE legislation and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience with audits, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
