The Instrument engineer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of all measurement and control systems used in Lyten Labs. This role supports experimental and pilot-scale production by managing calibration programs, maintaining instrumentation integrity, and working closely with engineering and operations teams to enable precise process control in a fast-changing R&D environment
Key Responsibilities
Overall areas of responsibilities and activities
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Interface with quality department, Instrument technicians, and area managers to ensure that instrument key points in the manufacturing process are meeting the quality requirements.
Together with Utilities/HVAC department ensure availability and calibration of sensor for buildings, utilities, clean-/dryrooms.
Develop and validate measurement solutions and equipment/tools for new products and processes.
Contribute to the energy efficiency management for the campus.
Plan and administrate the recurring calibration program.
Lead the daily work for instrument technicians.
Write and manage calibration/verification routines and standards together with quality department.
Train personnel on specific (measurement) tasks.
Evaluation of spare parts for the measurement equipment and tools.
Together with purchasing, organise and co-operate with external calibration companies.
Follow up on reliability of the equipment (KPI).
Troubleshooting & operational support related to measurement equipment.
Developing and optimizing the maintenance for the measurement equipment in terms of reliability, cost and safety.

Requirements
Educational background and previous experience for the role.
M.Ss or B.Sc degree in technical area such as mechanical, electrical, automation or similar.
+3 years of experience in a relevant Instrument/calibration engineering position
+3 years of experience in a relevant industrial environment (semicon, aviation, automotive).
Verbal and written fluency in English
Computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, calibration management software, analytical software like Minitab or JMP).
Valuable (but not ) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish.
Specific skills
Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience with instrumentation, calibration techniques and standards (IQ/OQ/PQ Qualification framework).
Experience with statistical validation (MSA, SPC, Tolerance analysis). SixSigma greenbelt or similar is a preference.
Strong analytical, organising and problem solving skills.
High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Proven skills in working with continuous improvements in industrial environment.
