Junior Category Manager Milk & Sour Milk (Temporary) - Stockholm

Are you passionate about driving category and business growth, and eager to join a market‑leading international FMCG company? Arla Foods is now looking for a Junior Category Manager – Milk & Sour Milk for a temporary 12‑month contract, based at our Swedish head office in Stockholm/Solna.

Milk is at the very heart of Arla’s business and remains a staple for Swedish consumers. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of the category by developing long‑term strategies and translating them into strong execution plans. Working closely with cross‑functional partners such as Brand, Innovation, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain, you will help ensure that our milk portfolio stays relevant, competitive, and positioned for continued growth.

How you will make an impact

You will be part of the Swedish Marketing Organization and report directly to the Associate Category Director Milk & Yoghurt.

To succeed, you will:

• Monitor category performance and take actions to secure delivery against business targets together with key stakeholders


• Leverage consumer insights to build an ambitious innovation pipeline that protects our core business and responds to emerging category trends


• Lead long-term strategic work for the Milk category, collaborating closely with Brand Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to ensure a strong end-to-end approach


• Stay on top of portfolio performance by continuously identifying new opportunities to drive profitability and enhance its sustainability

What will you make successful?

You are analytical, consumer driven, curious, and motivated by turning insights into commercial impact. You feel at home in a fast-paced FMCG environment and enjoy collaborating across the business to deliver results. We believe you bring:

• A degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field


• 2–3 years of experience in marketing, category management or a similar role within FMCG


• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations and actions (Nielsen, consumer and finance data)


• A consumer‑centric mindset and interest in trends, behavior, and market dynamics


• Strong project management skills, with a structured and solution-oriented way of working


• A collaborative approach, enjoying teamwork with stakeholders across commercial and supply functions


• High proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
