Outside Sales Engineer

We are looking for an Outside Sales Engineer to join us and drive the growth of our business in Southern Sweden, with a strong focus on customers within the process industry. You will play a key role in developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting customers in improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability through our solutions. You will be based in Malmö and work closely with our Sales Center in Sweden as well as service and marketing teams.

Do you enjoy building trusted relationships with industrial customers and being out in the field where business happens? Are you driven to identify opportunities and turn customer needs into concrete solutions and long-term partnerships? Do you combine technical understanding with a strong commercial mindset and a structured way of working?


This customer-facing role is part of our Sweden Sales Center and focuses on developing business in Southern Sweden. You will work independently in your region while collaborating closely with colleagues within inside sales, service and marketing to drive growth and deliver value to customers.


Which tasks will you perform?
You will:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders in the process industry, 

  • Identify new business opportunities and actively develop your sales region in Southern Sweden.

  • Drive the sales process from first contact to closing, including customer visits, technical discussions, quotations, and negotiations.

  • Follow up on quotations and ongoing opportunities to ensure progression and conversion.

  • Promote and position Endress+Hauser’s product portfolio and solutions, tailoring them to customer needs.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as service, inside sales and marketing to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

  • Plan and manage your sales activities, pipeline and budget responsibility for your region.


What do we expect from you?
You:



  • Are proactive, customer-oriented, and results-driven, with a strong drive to achieve targets.

  • Enjoy working independently in a field-based role and managing your own region.

  • Have a strong interest in sales and building long-term customer relationships, with experience from B2B sales.

  • Have technical understanding within process automation.


  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (for example in engineering, chemistry, or process technology), or have equivalent work experience.


  • Have a valid driver’s license and are willing to travel within Southern Sweden.
