Platform Engineer

We are now looking for a Platform Engineer to join a highly skilled team working with modern data platforms, infrastructure, and cloud-native technologies.

You will become part of a cross-functional environment responsible for business-critical platforms within data, generative AI, and visualization. The role combines hands-on platform engineering, system administration, automation, and infrastructure — with a strong focus on secure and reliable on-prem environments.

This is the right role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working close to infrastructure, and taking ownership from troubleshooting all the way to implementation.

About the role

You will join a cross-functional team working with the architecture, design, development, implementation, operation, support, and continuous improvement of modern data and IT platforms.

The environment combines containerized workloads, Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, networking, automation, and data platform technologies.

You will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI consultants, Scrum Masters, and other technical specialists.

What you’ll do

• Translate technical requirements into secure and reliable on-prem solutions

• Build, review, and manage container images hands-on

• Work extensively with Kubernetes and containerized environments

• Perform Linux/Unix system administration and troubleshooting

• Manage storage, users, groups, roles, and permissions

• Configure and troubleshoot virtual networks

• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Python or other scripting languages

• Contribute to system architecture and configuration management

• Support users and independently troubleshoot technical issues

• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI consultants, and other engineering roles

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with software containers

• Strong experience with Kubernetes

• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills

• Experience with configuration management

• Good understanding of system architecture

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages

• Experience working with infrastructure, operations, or platform engineering

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Very good communication skills in both Swedish and English

Experience with Cloud Native technologies, ETL, or cloud-based data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or Databricks is highly valued.
