Power Supply LV Engineer Gothenburg

Job Description:

System design and dimensioning of the 12V power supply and Electrical distribution system in Vehicle. Designing redundancy, load balancing and scheduling. Dimensioning of needed power input including battery capacity. The assignment includes power supply system, wiring and fuse dimensioning, including power supply, fuse and grounding strategy. Design of the electrical distribution system with input from load database and a wider view of vehicle systems, with ability to understand what is needed to connect a system together. The task requires close collaboration with function, system and component responsible.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

• Masters or Bachelors degree in electronics or equivalent.

• Good knowledge of automotive system and dimension.

• Minimum 5 years of Low voltage Power Supply experience in automotive projects and collaboration with global suppliers.

• Individual needs to be able to manage tasks independent and drive issues with energy.

• Transparent in reporting status of the area and manage cross functional contacts as required.

• Fluent English both writing and speech.
