At Material Solutions (a GKN business area), we are now looking for a passionate and driven Quality Engineer with a zero-defect mindset to play a key role in our journey.

We are currently in a critical phase of our Additive Fabrication / Powder Bed strategy, transitioning from a demo and test workshop to a factory ready for serial production. This means a strong focus on establishing ways of working to meet customer and industry standards, while product and method development is ongoing in parallel – we are building the road as we go.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and coach business area in problem investigations.

• Acting quality representative towards suppliers, customers and an internal focal point for coordination.

• Data analysis to drive improvements.

• Coach and support organization with applying APQP/PPAP (quality tools).

• Acting quality representative in new projects with regards to product development and industrialization.

• Lead and participate in process development to create and uphold a world class quality management system.

• Support with implementation and compliance with product, method and quality system requirements.

• Act on behalf of customer to perform final inspection before shipment of hardware.

• Support with upholding a quality and product safety culture.

Job Qualifications

• BSc degree in relevant area or equivalent experience.

• +3-year experience of product development, manufacturing, inspection or quality.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English.

• Meritorious with green belt / black belt or equivalent.

• Meritorious with previous experience of APQP/PPAP.
