Senior Business Analyst, California

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support business-critical applications and processes in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

This role focuses on bridging business needs with technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders to design, implement, and improve systems that drive efficiency and value.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategy

• Gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical specifications

• Act as a liaison between business teams and IT/development teams

• Support and improve complex business processes and applications

• Perform cost-benefit and ROI analysis for system implementations

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously as part of cross-functional teams

• Provide functional support and troubleshoot application-related issues

What you bring

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Strong experience in requirement gathering and business process analysis

• Ability to understand technical systems and communicate with developers

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Experience working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders

• Project management skills and ability to manage parallel initiatives

Need to have

• MBA or relevant advanced degree

• Certification in SuccessFactors

• Basic understanding of programming concepts

• Experience improving operational efficiency through technology solutions

Newark, California (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
